Is your scaffolding high quality and is it heavy duty?.........I usually will pause for a while and then slowly........will reply............Of course it isn't!!!.........and then be quiet for a minute.........:). The truth is we believe it's the best money can buy.......at it's price point and with the same coating comparison........ you get the point...... We only carry heavy duty contractor grade scaffolding. It's not cheap or light duty scaffolding. Only the price is cheap and light duty. There is a difference between us and others you are comparing us with. You will not get higher quality by buying a name brand locally. The more you read on our website the more you can come to understand this. We have taken the time to write down here the differences and hope you will take the time to read about them so we both can prosper. Is your tube wall thinner than Biljaxtm? No.... our tube wall thickness is 2.5 mm just like the big boys Biljaxtm, Wacotm and Safewaytm. Why pay more? We use high strength steel tubing. We have worked constantly for the last 6 yrs to improve the quality of our sets and it rivals any out there. It's now outstanding. Our powdercoating has been continually refined as well for the last 6 yrs. Recently we have changed the stud to a new larger diameter heavy duty style with a new large extra wide base for more strength and holding ability. This larger surface area for attaching to the vertical tube yields more side load strength and we oversized the flip lock so that it is more secure when you attach a brace and it takes less effort and leverage when you put your finger on it to flip it. It won't rattle or jiggle out of the locked position. We wanted this because sometimes it hurts a finger from the short stubby cheesy flip lock you find on other brands and who needs that? All our frames include stack pins as you have to have them so why charge extra for something you have to order and may not know you need until the order arrives. Which stack pin do you need? With a collar or without? What hole spacing? Geessssshhh.........Did you even know you needed that? We also include a new high quality spring retainer that we recently also improved by upgrading that to a solid stud from a cheaper press formed metal type. Why? Because it's just plain better. It secures the stack pin in the frame with an unbelievable increase in shear strength and that's a good thing. Oh and it's completely hidden, you are likely to never even touch it or see it and you'd otherwise never know this unless I tell you about it here........and yes it cost more........to do that.......all our products are designed this way. The quality is there even if you don't know about it. That's the Scaffoldmart difference. We make it easy to place an order by including the things we know you need that maybe you yourself don't know you needed...........makes sense... no? Lab testing our sets collapse above 60,000 lbs. You read right. That's the equivalent of 8 Chevrolet Suburbans loaded on top of a set before it finally gives way. 8 trucks on there......... holy cow! The point is it's more than strong enough to support you and another man or two and your tools or supplies. The only thing light duty about our sets is the price. How can we do this? Well the market is competitive and when you deal with us you cut out every single middleman. I don't like middlemen. We design and engineer from the start right until you call us. Most that do this use dealers but not us. Why? Well retailing your product when you manufacture it takes lots of energy! But we welcome your call for a small 1 set order to or 2500 sets. Over $600 it's free....under $600 it's $99 flat rate. We ship it to your door direct. Or for out of country orders to the port of your choice. Quick! Jacksonville Fl....one day delivery and Miami 2 days. Is that quick enough? Residential, Jobsite, Church, Marina, Mountain house, etc doesn't matter.........it's free. There are some small exceptions like NYC or the Keys or an island in the middle of nowhere........Anyway there are no freight charges if you meet the minimum order amounts as detailed in the complete shipping details located in the right column of the home page and under the link at the top of the page here. No sales tax if outside North Carolina. This in itself is a significant savings if you are comparing to local outlets. That's a cost you forget until you go to pay if buying locally. Then bam you are hit with a 5-8% sales tax which on larger orders really adds up. Ordering is easy. Each set includes 2 yellow powdercoated frames, 2 cross braces(each looks like an x with 2 single tubes riveted in the middle), 4 stack pins with a 1 inch collar, (this means add 1 inch in height for each stacked set you add upward if trying to be precise with the exact height) and 4 heavy duty spring retainers.........
