Stationary 26ft Scaffolding Tower Package: $1,659What to do when a 20 ft tower isn't high enough? Build one higher of course! We get asked constantly for higher towers than our standard 20 ft Deluxe Tower. In response we have developed a brand new Jumbo Outrigger. This outrigger is a full 5 ft in height and length. Given the height of the tower we have installed 5 high grip cast iron clamps to securely fasten this outrigger to the tower. Our jumbo outrigger actually clamps to the first and the second frame to add stability to the second frame up and it's really rock solid. We are very happy with the end result which is a tower that's stable at height. Like all our ratings, this tower is approved to go much higher than 25 ft but we like to adhere to a 3 to 1 stability rule as opposed to OSHA's 4 to 1 rule. Erring on the side of safety is our way of protecting YOU. We recommend that you tie off any tower if possible as this is the safest way to use scaffolding. Our 26 ft tower has a platform height that is actually 25 ft 6 inches. You can adjust it upwards with the level jacks another 18 inches or so. So you can adjust to raise the tower to 27 ft standing height. In other words your feet will be standing at this height so the working height (where your head is located) is actually over 33 ft. We include our deluxe safety panel system for superior stability and peace of mind while working on top. Three Scaffoldmart solid steel 7ft walkboards completely platform and cover the top 5 ft x 7 ft area. Pigtails are included to lock the entire tower together and level jacks are provided to give a solid level foundation. Included:
5 sets of 5x5 ladder type scaffolding
Product weight is 884 lbs Accessories to consider:
Additional walkboards for working at lower levels. (link for Steel
walkboards and link for alum ply boards.
Load capacity 500 lbs* *Not designed for heavy loads due to center of gravity. This tower is designed for personnel only due to the height. Adding weight at the top level raises center of gravity and therefore is NOT RECOMMENDED. Always adhere to building your tower no higher than 3 times the minimum base width. For this tower if outriggers are properly positioned the base width will be 13 ft x 13 ft. Please carefully measure and deploy outriggers to achieve this. If tower is completely tied off then regular load capacities apply. Jacks are load rated to 10,000 lbs. Jacks carry a 4 to 1 safety margin. Frames rated at 3625 lbs with a 16 to 1 safety margin. Total rated capacity of 3 steel boards approximately 2000 lbs. Actual collapse in lab tests of 3 boards occurs at 15,900 so safety margin is 8 to 1. We design our towers to be much safety than government OSHA standards. Please only common sense and always tie off a tower and observe all load capacities to ensure your and that of others safety. Never climb a moving or rolling tower without locking the casters and BE CAREFUL. We care about you!
